Tiffany 56

Tiffany 56 Starboard Side

A History:

The Tiffany 56 was custom built in 1988 by Tiffany Yachts for the first owner.  The owner was hands on in the design and development of the 56.  After 3 years the second owner took possession and changed the name to Miracle.  Miracle was docked locally and spent most winters at Tiffany Yachts for storage.  A teak transom and second head were added over the years as well as removing the Boston Whaler from the bow and installing new teak toe rails.

In February of 2010 Tiffany Yachts suffered a devastating fire that destroyed the main building and several boats that were inside.  Miracle was in the yard for winter storage and sustained heat damage on the port side.  Tiffany Yachts has now completed a new modern facility and also become the owners of the Tiffany 56.  We are in the process of restoring the exterior to be better than before and would like to find a discriminating buyer who is interested in owning one of the most beautiful Tiffany Yachts ever built.

Restoring a Beautiful Tiffany:

The restoration process began with stripping the fiberglass on the port side of the cold-molded hull.  Some of the foam was replaced and new layers of glass laid up and prepped for paint.  The side of the cabin was also stripped in sections and re-glassed. The bow deck was sanded and old fastening points filled, repairing any bubbles or cracks.  The hardtop needed to be replaced so the existing one has been removed and a new fiberglass top with a foam core has been made and is ready to be installed after painting and new aluminum.

The engine room has been cleaned up and systems gone through and the interior wood work has been oiled and rubbed.

The next step in the restoration process is selecting paint colors, we are considering Alexseal Pegasus Grey for the hull and Fleet White for the topsides.  Installing the new hardtop and upgrading the electronics on the bridge can then be done.  The interior will have new fabrics and carpet and some lighting changes.  As well as other small improvements that come up along the way.

You could be involved in these improvements.  Call today for more information on being the new owner of this beautiful Tiffany Yacht.

The Tiffany 56 is a custom yacht built for the discriminating owner who is serious about fishing and who appreciates the finely crafted details not available in production boats. At first glance, you’ll notice the sleek flared lines that are traditional with all Tiffany sportfishing yachts. The long bow slopes gracefully back toward the cabin, which has large angled tempered glass windows. At the stern is a large cockpit with teak decks and coamings.

As you step into the main salon from the cockpit, the first thing you notice is the oiled teak bulkheads, cabinets and furniture. The judicious placements of indirect lighting and overhead lighting, combines with the polished teak to give an extraordinary feeling of richness and warmth.

In the main salon, there is a complete entertainment center and a wet bar that features a varnished teak counter, teak sink and built-in icemaker. The galley is fully equipped with full complement of appliances and oiled teak cabinets. The decks are teak inlaid with brass.

As you step down through the arched doorway from the galley, you attention is immediately drawn to the unusual recessed plexiglass-covered rod storage locker. Moving forward along the carpet companionway, arched doorways lead to the guest stateroom and master stateroom.

The master stateroom has a large double berth and access to a private head with shower. The guest stateroom has two twin berths and a second head. Recessed lighting in the staterooms captures the feeling of shaded daylight.

A day head is on the port side of the companionway and includes a fold down bunk for crew if needed.Tiffany 56 Specifications
