Tiffany 40
The Tiffany 40
was designed for serious offshore running and is
what today’s fisherman is looking for. The
sharp, deep entry forward, coupled with considerable
flare at the bow, provides speed and comfort in
getting to the fishing grounds. The hull aft is
a modified vee, for stability while trolling and
ease of handling in following seas.
The ample cockpit is 11 feet long and is equipped
with an International fighting chair, Rupp outriggers,
custom bait freezer, tackle storage, in-deck live
bait well and transom fish box.
Inside, you’ll find generous use of oiled
teak cabinets and woodwork throughout, with soft
vinyl wall coverings and headliners. Indirect lighting
and recessed fixtures help to create an ambiance
of warmth and understated elegance.
The main salon has an L-shaped sofa, which converts
to a double bed. A wet bar and icemaker are located
on the port side, and the fully equipped galley
is on the starboard side. The galley fixtures are
concealed when not in use.
Just forward of the salon is a cozy “family
room,” with an upholstered curved settee and
hi-lo teak pedestal table. The settee converts into
a double bed.
On the starboard side is a private stateroom with
upper and lower berths and a cedar-lined hanging
locker. A head with shower is in the forward vee
of the boat.
The spacious bridge seats five comfortably and offers
an unobstructed view of the cockpit. It’s
equipped with concealed instrument clusters, which
raise during operation.
The Tiffany 40 is powered by 671TI Detroit Diesels
and has a cruising radius of 400 nautical miles.
A 26,000-BTU Cruisair reverse-cycle heat pump system
handles the heating and cooling and a Westerbeke
8.0 KW genset provides AC power.
